The short version
- Classrota uses one essential cookie, on the web app, to keep you signed in.
- We use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and nothing from other companies is loaded on our pages.
- Because the only cookie is essential, we don't ask for consent. We show a short notice instead, so you know.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. Browsers can also keep small amounts of information in "local storage", which works in a similar way. This policy covers both.

That is the whole list. This website (classrota.com) sets no cookies at all. Our fonts and images are hosted by us, so no other company can set a cookie through our pages.
3. Signing in with Apple or Google
If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, or connect Google Classroom, you're sent to their website to approve it. While you're there, they may use their own cookies under their own policies. They don't set cookies on Classrota's pages.
4. The apps
The iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch apps don't use cookies. What they keep on your device is described in section 5 of the privacy policy.
5. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the classrota cookie, you won't be able to stay signed in to the web app. Signing out removes what the cookie points to on our server.
6. Changes
If we ever add a cookie that isn't essential, we'll update this page first and ask for your consent before it's used.
